January 27,2008Still Life! Challenged myself to do something different, although I have done florals in watercolor. These are in acrylic and I like the intensity of the colors. The more I painted the more I thought about the changes that life brings. The building in the back, worn by time and the elements. The pitcher that the flowers are in had probabbly been in the back of the cupboard for years. The newness of the flowers which will fade ...but there will be new ones to come,new ones to enjoy.
